A roar of a mighty engine could be herd. It was only getting closer and closer to Nibelheim. A man wearing black baggy pants, black shirt underneath a long black jacket that has a Wolf face on the left side got off the motorbike. His green Mako eyes looked all around the small area. The man who had gotten off the bike, is Cloud Strife. The moment he got off the bike he looked somewhat surprised that the area was doing well.
This place was his home and he needed to pay a visit every now and then. Slowly, he took a few steps in wondering where everyone is. Could beasts or bandits came into town? Whatever the case, Cloud was ready. Eventually, he managed to get himself over to the crossing point. He had two path ways to choose. One led to where he first met Vincent. The other path led to the mountain where Hojo had done his work. |

Aerith had just woken up a few days ago.She wasn't sure where Zack could be so she came to find another familiar face ...
Cloud.
She had been wandering round for a while now, asking around for a Cloud or a spiky blond haired man and unfortunately nobody had seen him.She walked out of the inn and sighed.She wouldn't loose hope though.Something shone in the corner of her eye.It was Fenir.She smiled he had to be here then.She looked at some people whispering and pointing at a man in black.Her heart jumped
"Cloud!" she called out giving a wave "Cloud over here"
She didn't think that he would be surprised that she was alive ... she was just overjoyed to see him.

Cloud somewhat jumped when he herd his name called out. As he looked to his left he noticed Aerith near by. "Aerith" He said with a small nod. It had been a long time, since he last talked to her. If she was here could Zack be near by too? Well, he had to ask Aerith in order to find out. "Are you ok?" Cloud just had a strange feeling something bad was happening here.
Obviously, he could be dead wrong, but it was a feeling. Now the ex Soldier only stood a few feet away from the girl. He had been so long since, Aerith had died because of Sephiroth. "So how did you get here?" He was kind of confused on how she got hurt. Most importantly how did she get here unharmed? Today was most certainly an interesting day.

Aerith looked puzzled "I don't really remember..." she wondered "I was in the life stream and then I just woke up.Like it had been a dream of some sort" she mused.She actually had no clue about how she came back from the dead.She smiled slightly "The planet is mysterious.You should know that Cloud" she smiled walking closer to the ex solder
"You've not changed at all" she said smile as bright as ever

Cloud listened to Aerith talk and wondered how or even why the planet would revive a person with their old body? Well, this was going to be one odd day, that is for certain. After his friend said he still has not changed, Cloud looked way to the left hand side. Change was something he wish he could do. However, he will always be tormented by his past sins.
Deep down, he knows he really did nothing wrong. Only if he had been stronger he could have had Zack survive. Maybe just maybe his best friend would still be alive if he was stronger back then. Well now he is stronger and determined to find Zack. If Aerith was still alive so should Zack, right? "Aerith have you seen a person named Zack Fair?" Not knowing that she knows the Puppy too.

She beamed at the mention of his name "Zack.Yes he was at the church last time I saw him which was a few days ago.He could be working on the wishes..." She was unsure of how Cloud knew Zack but the obvious would be through SOLDER
"Why do you ask?" she asked tilting her head to the side cutely.She was curious now.How did he know Zack?She wondered why he came up here ... was it because he was looking for Zack?

So Zack really was alive as well? This was perfect, maybe he could go and find his friend before he leaves? First he has to make sure that Aerith will be fine in this town. "You see. Zack is my best friend." He said softly. Cloud was going to make up for his past 'sins' one way or another. The best thing he could do was apologize to his friend.
"We met when Shinra's helicopter crashed in a snowy mountain. Zack darted off and I kept up with him." Cloud took a pause. "That's when me and Zack became friends." With Zack alive again, he could help him protect this planet they love so much. First they need to meet up once more. The thought of that had a grin on Clouds face.

"I see" she mused "I met him when he fell into my church through the roof ... I thought he was dead" she giggled "He insisted on taking me on a date afterwards" a slight blush gracing her face.She wasn't sure if Zack had told Cloud about them and what they had... well what she thought they had.
She smiled when he smiled "I'm glad your okay Cloud"

Cloud gave Aerith a small smile when he herd that Zack attempted to get her on a date. So he still was the same person after all. Well, this only made him want to see him again even more. "Will you be alright here?" Strife said to the girl softly. He knew that this town was safe, but with the monsters around, he was not so sure. There was way to many around nowadays.
Slowly, he turned around and faced the small wooden water supply structure. So if Zack was last at the church than that is where he should go next.

She frowned "Are you going?" she sighed.She wanted to spend some more time with him and he was taking off already "If you going back to the church could I come with you?" she asked "I don't want to be on my own" she smiled
She sat on the seat of the bike ... waiting with pleading eyes.She wanted to come and she wasn't taking no for a answer.

Cloud was rather surprised when Aerith went past him and sat on the seat of the bike. "You can't come" He said softly. This was something he just had to do on his own. He knows for a fact, if he can't persuade Aerith here then she will be tagging along. Cloud let out a sigh and walked over to Aerith, who is on his bike. "You shouldn't be around me."
Slowly, he looked to the side and just began to think for a bit. "I'm just not safe to be around. Every second someone is trying to kill me." He said with a slight laugh.

She crossed her arms "No" she protested before running her hand along his arm "If I cared about that do you thin I'd be here Cloud?If someone's trying to kill you let me help.2 is better then one" she smiled.
She didn't blame Cloud for what happened to her and he needed to get over that .... or he wouldn't move forward.She hated how he got hung up on the past.She crossed her arms,showing she wouldn't move.She would just come back if he forcefully moved her. She touched his cheek
"What are you so afraid off?"

Cloud could not help, but flinch backwards a little when Aerith said no right away. Well, this was going to get nowhere at all. He just could not take her with him. Cloud just does not want to see anyone hurt at all. However, anyone around him will always get hurt. Even when he is not by his loved ones they still get hurt by something or someone. Strife thinks he is some kind of plague that everyone wants to fight, because he has power.
Soon he felt Aerith's hand on his cheek as she asked him what was he afraid of. Gently, he moved her hand off of his cheek and looked towards the exit, which lead to the desert. "You should stay here until someone else comes." Cloud took a short pause and then looked to Aerith. "If I find Zack, I'll tell him to come pick you up. Otherwise I'll send Tifa." Cloud sad sternly to the flower girl. He needed to go and she was not making things easy at all.

"No Cloud I'm coming with you.What's the point of Zack coming to get me when you can take me back now" she scowled.What was wrong with him.Get Zack?Did he not just want her to come?She frowned
"Cloud why don't you want me to come.I can take care of myself" she muttered "Why don't let me come near you" she gasped "I never blamed you.It wasn't your fault Cloud and if that's what this is about ..." she raked her hands through her braid nervously

"Aerith you can't come with me." Cloud said coldly. He had to do things on his own and his friends must not get in his way. Why did she have to be so difficult about this? Strife let out a sigh, but held a firm stance. "Get off my bike and wait for someone to pick you up." Cloud said. He did not want to b e forceful with her, but he might have to. He has a few errands to do before he goes off in search for Zack.
"I don't have all day Aerith." That is the last thing he is going to say, for the moment. If the flower girl does not get off his motorcycle then he will have to use force. By force, he is going to pick her up and place her on the ground and then go.
