[Kadaj]

Kadaj wandered the streets, a dazed look in his eyes as he wandered almost mindlessly with no destination in mind, he seemed lost, but he'd been around here before.

"Why am I here?" he muttered to himself as he listed his hand to gaze down at it, he could see some raindrops land upon his hand so he looked to the sky, "great...." he muttered as he continued on. "i suppose I'll be expected to bring about the reunion again...but it's pointless now...Sephiroth you bastard...you drained me of every ounce of energy I had in me...." clutching his hands into fists his body shook slightly.

Kadaj was still weak from the fight, even after being brought back from the lifestream, after a while he started to limp slightly as he tugged the black remnant cloak he had on over his normal leather outfit. Throwing the hood up he looked around himself, his vision growing fuzzy.

"what the hell is wrong with me?" he asked himself as he came up to a building, the rain started to come down quite hard by now as he stared at the stained glass windows. His vision was much too fuzzy to make out the words, but he figured it was some sort of church, and it looked very familiar to him from what he could see of it.

Maybe If he made it inside, then he could rest, that is if he made it. Staggering a bit, kadaj fell over and landed with his back against the building. The hood stayed up and over his face as he hung his head before closing his eyes with a sigh.

(I'm too tired....) he thought to himself, (i can't move...damn you sephiroth....damn you...)

Zack opened his eyes, looking around him, where had he ended up, he hadn't expected to be out here now, wasn't he dead? He had died hadn't he, the bullets, his blood, seeing Cloud, giving Cloud his sword, Zack remembered all of it, and yet here he was like it had never happened. His clothes were still torn up by it and there was dried blood from the wounds. He felt almost nothing, just a few waves of pain here and there, it was like it had all ended so quickly and there was nothing that could explain what had happened. 'I was in the lifestream...this shouldn't be happening...how am I here now...unless the lifestream had a reason...'
He saw Aerith's church in the distance, that one church he had never thought he would have seen again, if he had come back was she here as well, he had to check, he had to know.

And that was when he saw the cloaked man or well someone, for just a moment he thought he glimpsed silver hair, and he thought of Sephiroth, but he couldnt' quite figure out why at this point. He had to get to the church if she was in there he wanted to make sure she was okay. He had told Cloud to follow his dreams,and even know Zack was having a hard time believing that all of this was real. "No way this can't be real...I'm not..." He wasn't going to end up saying the rest of it, even though part of him knew it wasn't wise for him to still be around here, but he had to find Aerith. He entered the church and well he looked around carefully, that black cloaked guy was here, and well that just made him realize that he had to find her. Unless she wasnt' here yet, his mind was still confused, and back onto that bright light, and that voice that had called out to him telling him to wake up.

He looked around, and then turned his vision towards the man or boy, or whatever he was, his first task was Aerith, and yet here this person was. Who was it, he felt like he had seen him before, something was just not right about this place at all. The rain didn't bug Zack, at first it stung a little bit, but it reminded of when he died, all over again, it was just like the time he had died, except he was not sure why he was here instead of where he had actually been killed.

Aerith's eyes slowly fluttered open.She was surrounded by yellow.She closed them again... the familiar musky scent of the church invaded her nostrils.She felt at peace for a few seconds until the question 'How did she get here?' ran through her mind.She was dead ... she was in the lifestream.None of this made sense.

Suddenly the door swung open and she shot up right.Her heart began to pound rapidly as she got up and ran to the dark haired man "I need that list of yours.I got another tiny wish" she smiled weakly before turning to the other man.She looked painic stricken ... what could have happened to him? "Helloo" she asked him "Can you hear me?"

[Kadaj]

Kadaj could hear footsteps, it was somewhere close by. He opened his mouth, but no words came out, he tried to lift his head, but his body wouldn't let him. then a voice, what was going on? he knew that voice, "m-mother?..." he managed to say after a few tries, "i-is..that..." Finally he was able to lift his head, he was still outside, the rain still falling onto his weak body.

Glancing around himself he tried to stand, he got about half way up, while leaning on the building for support. Slowly he tried to walk inside the building only to fall as soon as he made it through the doors right at the black haired man's feet. Going into the fetal position he whimpered slightly, he felt so ashamed to let others see him like this, so weak and scared, it was enough to make him angry at himself.

Zack looked at Aerith, it had been such a longtime, he had been dead and she had been there too, and yet now they were both here, in this place, that church that they had always hung out at, when Zack wasn't working for Soldier...that one place he wanted nothing to do with anymore, he might as well be deemed ex-soldier...it would have been a lot easier then the rest of this. He followed her eyes, and looked to the guy who seemed to be weak and hurt, that was not a good sign then, and yet Aerith was concerned which meant that he had to mean something to her. Or maybe it was just his imagination, but had he seen this kid somewhere before.

’ 'Sephiroth I wonder if you are here to...' ’ That guy was a problem, not someone he wanted to deal with again, but no matter how much he tried to get away from it, well the more it didn't seem to work. He noticed the kid fall at his feet, he looked to Aerith, it wasn't wise to leave him laying around like this, and well if Aerith was concerned then Zack would at the very least end up helping her a bit. "We should move elsewhere...not wise to leave him here like this..."

He leaned down and reached out to touch Kadaj, and Sephiroth's image flowed through his mind again, he was going to deal with that later though. Aerith must have known something here, plus Zack wouldn't have much of a clue, he was already dead before any of this had actually happened. But this kid was still familar. " hm...I wonder have I.." Part of him wondered why this kid called her mother, Aerith was a bit young to be a mother, she had been when it happened, and it wasn't like much had changed.

Aerith was confussed at first.Why was this boy callin her mother?Then she remembered about Kadaj and her taking him intothe life stream "Yes Kadaj it's me" se said rubbing her hands soothingly along his back,trying to calm him down before nodding at Zack "Yes I guess your right.Can you put him by the flowers Zack it's the warmest part of the church.He must be freezing he's shaking" she muttered taking her jacket and wrapping it round Kadaj "Its going to be okay Kadaj"

[Kadaj]

Laying on the church floor, kadaj whimpered, he was finally free of the cold rain from outside. the ripples of pain surged through his body every now and then, was this the after effect of dyeing, then coming back to life again? or was it the after effect of Sephiroth taking over?

Feeling the raven haired man touch him he jumped a bit, the pain felt worse, pictures of sephiroth flooded into his mind, "Go away! get out!" he screamed as he clutched his head. and with that, it seemed to stop. the pain subsided only for a little bit, surges came and went every now and then, but he seemed to deal with it for now.

A new pair of hand were on him now, they were gental and kind, so were the other hands but now as mush as hers were. Looking up at her he shook his head, "your not Jenova....but...your kinder then her..." he spoke softly. She was right, he was shaking, he hadn't even realized it before.

Zack watched Aerith and Kadaj, he was concerned about them both, and yet he was thinking a bit more about Aerith, he had been worried about her when he had died, and now he was back here again, but Kadaj needed help first. Before he did anything, he would talk to Aerith after helping Kadaj, he backed up a little bit when Kadaj freaked. Maybe there was something about him that was way to familiar, he would have to figure it out, for now it was time to move him to a warmer place.
”Calm down I‘m not gonna hurt you… He looked to Aerith maybe she could convince him just a little bit, she was good at that, neither of them wanted to hurt Kadaj, but it was up to him whether he believed. And well it was to cold where he was laying. “I’m just gonna pick you up and move you..okay…” He wanted to make sure that Kadaj understood as he carefully lifted Kadaj off the floor making sure Aerith’s jacket stayed wrapped around Kadaj, he was light which might have been a bad thing but Zack was grateful for it at this point. He put the boy down carefully, he didn’t have a jacket, he hadn’t been wearing one when he was killed so it wasn’t like he ended up with one now that he was here.

He stepped back and vanished for a moment coming back with some blankets, for now he figured it would be better if he stayed away and didn’t get to close. He didn’t want to freak the boy out again, that wasn’t his plan at all.

Aerith held his hand "It's okay ... Zack's a nice guy he's not going to hurt you" she smiled before giving a look of confusion "Jenova?" she asked,holding his hand as Zack took him to the front of the church.She watched as Zack left and and she brushed some of the hair out of his eyes "How did you get here Kadaj" she asked,cautious as not to tread on the boys toes.

She stood up when Zack came back with the blankets and walked across the room, pulling a piece of paper out from under a bench and handed it to Zack "It's my biggest wish" she mumbled, a red tint gracing her cheeks

'I want to see you again ... even if its just a glimpse.I want you to be okay'

[Kadaj]

Shivering more he spoke, "s-s-sephiroth....he won't stay out of my mind.....he's still there....he won't stop hurting me...he thinks im weak...make it stop...." he whimpered, not really talking to either of them, he was just plain talking.

"I'm not scared of you hurting me....I'm....I'm not scared of anything!...I don't need help!" Rolling over on his other side so that his back faced them he let out a sigh. He was disappointed in himself, and it only made him think how disgusted Sephiroth would be with him only gave him the chills.

Crossing his arms he scoffed at Zack's words, "as if..." he choked out with a slight squeak. As Kadaj was lifted off the Church floor, he yelped slightly, clinging to the closest thing so he wouldn't fall, which happened to be Zack's shirt. "Drop me and you die...." he glared.

After he was laid down by the flowers, he could feel the sun beaming down upon him, the sweet scent of the flowers filled his nose. they smelled sweet and lovely, he felt so at ease. Chuckling at Aerith's words he attempted to create the Matra magic in his hand, "but what If I hurt you" he grinned evilly just before the blue sparks to die out. "shit..." Leaning his head back he sighed. He wasn't feeling his greatest, not at 100%

"I dont have time for this...I must find mother....the reunion...Mother loves him more..." he whimpered. "i...i don't know...i made the reunion...i made it happen...but...Sephiroth's power was too great for me so after Cloud beat him i let go...landing in Cloud's arms before hearing a voice..." Looking at Aerith he sighed, "I thought It was Mother...but it was only you...I was dead...gone from this world...but not im back..."

Kadaj didn't know what was going on, all he knew was that he felt safe with this woman, even the black haired man made him feel safe too. They were both so very kind to him, it was strange, he wasn't use to such kind hands touching him.

Seeing the woman walk away he watched them, they seemed to know each other quite well, were they lovers in the past? friends? family? sighing he looked away, a family sounded nice, but a brat child like Kadaj would never have one aside from Yazoo, Loz, Cloud and Sephiroth.

Zack didn't really know why Kadaj was acting like this, but if it had anything to do with Sephiroth, then well maybe the cells that were Zack's might have had something to with that. "Believe me I won't drop you..." He was stronger then he might look, but then again Kadaj seemed to really have something against him which made Zack think. There was a major reason why, sooner or later he had to find out what it was.

But Zack wasn't going to bring that up now, Aerith didn't know about that either, and well there was just something else he had to do first, before he told her about that. Zack held onto the paper that she had given him, he was holding the blankets under one arm as he opened the paper. He looked at the blush on her face, well he knew some of what it meant. "Well now I'm here....you aren't alone anymore..."he knew they had Kadaj to worry about, but for just a moment it felt like it was just the two of them. Once Kadaj was warm and possibly resting or something they could have the moment.

"Jenova..."That name registered in his mind again, it was something he never wanted to think about, she was nothing more then the calamity, and she had screwed Sephiroth over. Making him do what he did, at least in a sense."Be careful...we don't need anything happening here..."Right now none of them needed attention drawn to themselves, and well if they werent' supposed to be here, then well that was how it was supposed to be. But they were here, and that was all it was going to be.

"Sephiroth's power that is something you do not wish to get involved with again...death is all that awaits for most..." He was just saying that, mainly because he had died for a specific reason, and well Sephiroth had almost killed him if not for the experiments, or whatever happened when he was unconcious, he probably would have died. That reminded him that he had check on Cloud.

'Cloud I have to find you...and check on you...it's my fault you are the way you are...sorta anyway...' Mainly it was just Zack beating himself up for getting Cloud involved with all that had happened in the reactor, and well Sephiroth had been dealt with then, but he kept on coming back it seemed. That must have been quite annoying, but if Sephiroth saw him, then what would he think. After all Zack had been killed, just like Aerith had, and well Kadaj wasn't supposed to be here either, and yet she was.

He wondered what was going to happen now, they had to see the ones they had left behind, and then his mind the turks, what were they up to lately.

She looked at him "I know you wouldnt hurt me" she smiled softy before turning to Zack "I didn't think I'd see you again.I was so worried" she murmured as a single tear ran down her face ...

"Zack who is Jenova?" she asked.She hadnt heard of her or him before and the way they talked about it made her feel scared. Her blood ran cold ... Sephiroth "Zack he's not come back has he.Please tell me he's not back".She turned back,crouching infront of the silver haired boy "You know if you want I don't mind being your mother" she offered.She was taken to the boy and wouldn't let him leave until he felt better ... which wouldn't be for a while.

[Kadaj]

Hearing Zack speak he grumbled lightly, "better not...." Laying there he grumbled a bit as memories played through his mind, the memories of how he had attempted to bring about the reunion, his own words flooded through his mind, 'my reunion....bet your dieing to watch...' a twisted menical image of himself popped into his head, the image then started to laugh insanely before it all went haywire, voices and pictures from the past filled his head. Loz, Yazoo, and Sephiroth.

Squeezing his eyes shut he placed his hands upon his head, gripping a handful of hair, "It hurts....make it stop....please...." Whining lightly he tried to keep it all under control, so the two adults in the room didn't see him like this. "why am I so weak?" he asked himself, "no wonder mother loves Sephiroth more..." he sighed.

Looking at Zack he slowly sat up, "you don't understand! I am a clone of Sephiroth! Mother needs me to bring the reunion! to bring Sephiroth back!" he snapped before clutching his arm in pain. "but the last time i did that....I died..." he spoke with a hiss of pain.

Snapping his gaze at Aerith he had purposely tried to scare her, but nothing seemed to work. "Did you not hear me woman!? I am Sephiroth's Clone! I am a remnant of the man that killed you! I killed many people!....How are you not scared of me!?"

Seeing the tear run down her face, kadaj sat back, these two did know each other, most likely from before they died. They looked like they were very much in love, (maybe I should try and be nice to them....at least till I get my strength back) he thought to himself as he watched them.

"what a silly question..." he chuckled, "Jenova...is the calamity who's cells are in mine and my brother's bodies....Cloud too" Looking at zack he grinned, "And I can tell the cells are in you too" he chuckled.

Allowing his cat-like pupils to slit upon hearing his brother's name he chuckled, "Big Brother...." he muttered as he pulled knees up to his chest just before hearing Aerith's offer, "I-I...." his voice hitched in his throat, he didn't know what to say. "you don't even know me...or what I've done..."

Feeling tears slide down his face he reached up to try and wipe them away, but they just kept on flowing, "your....jut too....nice to me" he almost whimpered.

Zack did his best to comfort Aerith, he at one point might have thought the same thing, he at first had wished that he had lived, and not died. He wiped the tear from her eye and held her close, she was worried about him, and he had wanted to see her one time before he had died, it just hadn't been meant to happen.

He had also been concerned about Cloud, but he had gotten stronger, which for that moment made Zack smirk just a bit. "For now we have no idea whether Sephiroth is here or not...but if the lifestream brought us back...then it might have done the same for him..." Zack remembered a time when Sephiroth was different, when he didn't act like he did, when he wasn't crazy. Or well he at least didnt' have to please Jenova, that was what had turned Sephiroth into the monster everyone called him today, but not many knew that, Cloud probably had a clue, and maybe even Kadaj did, but was that really important. "Watch that mouth...She's trying to help you..plus you aren't Sephiroth...." Zack was speaking cause he knew Sephiroth the real Sephiroth, or well he wished that Sephiroth would go back to who he had been before but that was not to happen.

Jenova should have just vanished into thin air, and then none of this would have happened, but then he wouldn't have met his friends, and well yea the bad things wouldn't have happened, but heroes never quit. They had to keep going no matter what. Zack leaned down next to Kadaj, and looked at him, this was something he had never thought he would have to see. "The weak are the ones who hide what is wrong with them..." He had figured that out, and well maybe it was just his need to help people that was making him reach out to this person, no matter what the risk was. "Mother...you mean Jenova..." he wasn't going to say what he wanted to, but that thing knew nothing of love, at one point she might have pretended, but she was using them as tools, even Sephiroth.

"I do understand maybe not all of it...but I knew Sephiroth before he became what he is now...and he is just being used...not that he realizes that either..." Zack was not enjoying this, he wished that Sephiroth had ended up not getting involved with that, but not that it mattered.

"Sephiroth's clone or not you are still a person...and deep down if you had a choice who knows what you would have chosen..." He had always wondered what would have happened if they had all had another choice, or if they had known what was going to happen to them. "Yes I have Jenova cells to...and well they did some things to Cloud that..." he didn't want to bring that up again, it was not something that was to be talked about now.

"We may not know what you have done...but we won't hold it against you...you deserve friends and another life...a new one...different from the past..." Zack was just speaking what he thought, but it was up to Kadaj what he truly did.

She flinched slightly at the mention of her murder ... she still had nightmares about it,the scar on her back and stomach reminded her everyday about how much pain she had been though "I'm not scared because fear will not control me.You say your his remnant but you are not him.You didn't kill me ... he did so why would I hold it against you?" she asked before placing her arm on Zack's "Its okay he's a bit confussed is all" she smiled

Jenova was Sephiroth's mother?She honestly thought he couldn't have one and he was a manufactured being "So Jenova started this.She's your mother Kadaj.Do you want to be like Sephiroth Kadaj?" she asked.She knew that the boy probably didn't like his brother all that much "That's why I don't hate you.I won't hold you accountable for what hes done"

She frowned at the comment about his past "Yesterday is history,tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift Kadaj.It's why it's called the present" she smiled "I'm nice to you because I want to be.I'm nice because I think you want to change" she said feeling his forehead.His temperature was burning.Her hand felt like she was on fire "Your burning up" was all she could muster to say
