Mako green eyes opened and instantly closed, the light sky ... he had not seen it in so long yet the sight blinded him.The velvet nightmare was by his side.He blinked a few times ... how did he get here?He was ...

He blinked a few more times. "Mother?Did you do this?" he asked himself.It had to be mother.Mother wanted him to do her bidding "I'm sorry I failed you before mother" he cried.He hadn't meant to fail.She loved Sephiroth more ... he craved her affection even if it was just for a second.

He rose to his feet coming down from the roof of the building, when he got to the bottom he brushed the dust off his bike "Mother I won't fail you this time" he muttered mounting his bike and getting ready to ride off

Kadaj rode around Midgar on the back of a Shadow creeper. Kadaj wore a black T-shirt, with Tight Black pants that had chains dangling from them. He had told Cloud he was going to prove he wasn't a monster recently, and thats just what he was going to do. "dig.." being in the more ruined part of Midgar, Kadaj was set on finding Souba, his dual bladed katana.

It hadn't been with him when he returned from the lifestream, hell he didn't even wake up in the same spot he died in Cloud's arms, those last few moments were so peaceful to him, but now that he was alive again, every moment by Cloud was stressful as hell. The man wouldn't forgive him, which was understandable.

"he shouldn't have called me a monster..." Kadaj muttered before sliding off the Shadow Creeper's back. "ugh! it's not here!" he yelled as he clutched his fist. "wait....when I was released from Sephiroth's hold....I landed on the roof" the memory of before his death played in his mind as if he were watching a movie.

Souba had dropped out of his hand before falling into Cloud's arms, "thats right!" Looking up the side of the ruined building be wondered if the Shadow Creeper could Climb it. "wanna give it a shot?" he could hear the creature grumble a bit just before leaping up into the side, it's claws digging into the rubble.

Kadaj held tight onto the Shadow Creeper's back, thats when a flash of Silver caught his eye, "what was that?" he muttered to himself. "Keep climbing..." he told the creature before thinking, (what if it was one of my brothers?)

Shaking his head to clear his thoughts he finally reached the top, "what spot was it?" he wondered out loud. Climbing off the Shadow Creeper's back he told it to stay put. The sun then reflected off of something shinny causing Kadaj to squint. "Souba!" he squealed before snatching the sword off the ground, "eww your all rusty...I'm going to have to clean you..." he muttered before placing it right in the sheath on his back.

Climbing back on the back of the Shadow Creeper, It took off, leaping down the side of the building he landed right in front of Yazoo on his motorcycle.

[Yazoo]

Yazoo looked up when he heard a voice.In his mind it could only be one person ... he smirked.

Kadaj

He didn't think he would find him this quick after his rebirth but luck seemed to be on his side today.He got off to go find his little brother use the shadow creeper which landed at his feet.Yazoo gave a graceful catlike smirk before chuckling "Graceful as usual Kadaj" he chuckled,not moving to greet the younger boy.

Kadaj was once their leader and he used a mear shadow creeper to do his bidding, he scoffed ... pathetic. "I take it you've not tried to find mother little brother.Have you?" he asked.

Patting the Shadow Creeper lightly on the head, Kadaj smiled, "good boy..." he chuckled a bit before hearing a light voice speak to him.

Looking up he saw one of his older brothers, "Yazoo..." he spoke as he climbed off of the Shadow Creeper, motioning for it to stay put before running up to his brother, the chains on his paints clinking together before halting right in front of Yazoo.

"Your alive! like me!" he spoke, grinning his ass off as he hugged Yazoo tightly, "Is Loz around too?!" he asked as he looked around the Taller Remnant, though he saw no one else. "I take it he's not here huh?" he sighed.

Looking up at Yazoo he herd him speak of....her...

Giving a dark look he glanced away, he hated jenova, his hatred for her was just as great as his hatred for Sephiroth. "no...brother...I haven't..." he sighed, feeling as though Yazoo may be angry with him soon. "and I dont pan to either...." he spoke with no fear of Yazoo being angry. Kadaj didn't care, he was the leader once, maybe yazoo would still fallow him no matter what kadaj's choices were.

Or maybe Yazoo would do the complete opposite and fight Kadaj, "I...have a new home now..." he spoke, hoping Yazoo would join him in his new ways.

[Yazoo]

Yazoo frowned "I regret to say I have not seen Loz though" His brow creased "But brother you cannot turn your back on mother ... its why we were created to help mother take over this planet and rule the cosmos ... with big brother" Yazoo scowled "I see what your doing Kadaj.You want me to stop looking for her so you can keep her all to yourself ... you always thought you were something special didn't you.That you were better a better son that Loz and I" his hand curled into a fist "It's not going to work Kadaj.I will be one with mother"

Kadaj turned his face away from Yazoo, "Living life like a normal person is more important to me..." he sighed before thinking of Aerith and Zack. He knew they would be waiting for him to return to their sweet little, strange family.

Looking at yazoo he shook his head, "No yazoo! i wish not to continue my search!....look at me brother! do I look like I care about what Sephiroth wants!? do i look like I'm searching for....Jenova!?" he snapped. "No i don't! im not even wearing the remnant outfit anymore..." Crossing his arms, Kadaj let out a sigh. "No! i never thought that you fool! I cared about you and Loz dearly! and i still do!"

"Jenova is no mother of mine!" he finally yelled, "Jenova is cruel!....mean...hateful!....She doesn't love us! she just wants to use us!" he yelled. "Aerith....now she's a mother...." he said calmly, "she actually cares...she knows what love is truly like..."

[Yazoo]

The sound of a slap echoed out.Yazoo was angry ... Kadaj had betrayed their cause ... he had betrayed mother "How can you ... live with yourself" he spat before his eyes widened "The remnant outfit?!" he exclaimed "You said we shouldn't think about us as his remnant just mother's sons!I'm not something that can be thrown away and disposed of!I do not care for Sephiroth only for mother" he yelled.

How dare Kadaj treat him like this "You say you care for me but yet you call me that!You forget easily Kadaj it wasn't me who prepared for Sephiroth's wake.It was you!You were the one who was replaced" he spat angrily "If I am but a mere remnant then you must be king of them!!"

He scowled "JUST SHUT UP KADAJ!" he yelled "Don't talk about mother like that!"

Kadaj's eyes went wide, he hadn't even realized had just happened till after it was over. only when realization dawned on him, was when he felt the horrible sting from Yazoo's slap. placing a hand on his now stinging cheek, a look of utter shock was apparent across his features.

Looking up at his older brother he felt some anger towards him, yet he didn't show it. the sadness was too over powering. "Peacefully...that's how..." he sighed. "a life without death and destruction...I like it" he lightly chuckled.

"Well I was wrong!....she....she doesn't think of us as her son's...why should we waste our breath thinking of her as a mother!?" shaking his head, kadaj laughed a bit, "No your not....and neither am I....but she believes so...Jenova....were just toys for her to play with....pawns in a little game..."

And that right there was true, "yes...I was replaced...because Jenova has no love for me...only Sephiroth...and If you...or Loz...or anyone else tries it...it don't matter who...they will all be replaced by him!....she doesn't love or care for us Brother!" No matter how hard he tried to pound his words in to Yazoo's thick skull, he doubted any of it made a difference.

"what makes you think I would want to be called that Yazoo?...king of Remnants..thats just stupid!..." placing his fingers upon his temples he sighed to try and calm himself, "look...were both Remnants...thats all we'll ever be is remnants...her little puppets..." he spoke calmly as he looked up at him again. "I'll talk about her any way that I please...." he spoke lightly, "now...I have what I was looking for...I wish to go home...you may come to If you behave....But I am not searching for Jenova again..." he sighed.

"call me a Traitor if you wish....i don't care...I'm not giving up my happiness to destroy again..." turning his back on Yazoo, Kadaj could feel a slight pain in his chest, it was a tight feeling as if he were to cry soon. Holding it in he spoke again. "Yazoo...I know you aren't happy...why not come with me...live life freely...live...happy..." he asked with a glance over his shoulder.
