Tifa cleaned up the bar after closing down. Going to the talbes she put the dishes in a container and placed it inside the kitchen. She new she would do them tomorrow. Once she was done with the bar she smiled. Heading up stairs she checked on the kids. When she saw they were asleep Tifa went to her room. Her room had two beds. One for her and one for Cloud.
Looking at the empty bed Tifa's smile went down. Going to the window she opened it and looked out of it. She missed Cloud every time he was not there. There was a picture she had and shook her head and went back to looking outside. "Remeber we are not a family." Tifa said to her self out loud.
As her eyes went to the stars she went back and looked out to the ground seeing if she could see Cloud. "I thought you wouldn't do this any more Cloud." Tifa thought he was changing and could see it but at times she wondered if he was getting better. When he takes off like this she hatd this.

Soon a loud roar from an engine could be herd coming up to the bar. A motor bike was soon parked on the right hand side of the bar with a man getting off. This particular man being Cloud. Slowly, he walked around to the front and looked up to see Tifa standing there. "Tifa." He said loud enough so she could hear him. He had been out for a little while and ran into Aerith and the demon child.
Eventually, he walked in the bar and locked the door behind him.Cloud turned around and walked up the stairs to where Tifa was. "How are the kids and yourself?" The Ex. Soldier knew he still was not around enough at all. However, he still cared deeply about Tifa and the kids. All day he could only think about protecting them and the rest. His man priority was to protect everyone, but that is one really hard task to complete.

Tifa heard a motorcycle but didn't pay any attention since she couldn't see it. Looking down she smiled "Cloud" She waved down to him. Tifa couldn't believe he was back. Closing the window and locking it. She was headed to the door to great him.
As she got there Cloud stood there and Tifa smiled "The kids are doing good. They keep wondering when your coming back though. I"m doing alright. What about you? How are you?" Tifa was going to tell him about Kadaj but she figured she would tell him later about him. He just got back and she did not wish for him to walk out.
Looking into his blue eyes Tifa smiled "Is there any thing I can get you? Something to eat or drink? Also Cloud where did you go?" Tifa asked looking at him with question in her eyes.

Cloud gave Tifa small smile as she said the kids were fine as well as herself. Besides his other friends, Tifa and the kids were his whole world. If anything were to happen to them his world would be crushed."I'm fine." Soon she had where he had gone. Well, he had quite the interesting story at that. "First I went to our home town where I saw Aerith there." Cloud paused. "At the last moment, I decided to give her a lift home.
"From there I had a run in with Kadaj, and now I'm here." Most likely Tifa was going to ask some kind of question about Kadaj or act surprised. He just had one hell of a day is all.

Tifa nodded and smiled "Kadaj was here as well Cloud. He told me Zack and Aerith was alive." Looking at him she was worried. "I helped him Cloud." Looking at him she got closer to him "I think he wants to change." Tifa took his hand "Cloud what should we do about Kadaj?" Tifa kept hold of his hand.
Tifa let go and looked back at him "Home? How is every one?" Tifa wanted to take the kids there one day with Cloud as well. But it seemed that trips like that would never happen. "Cloud how long are you goin to stay this time?" Tifa looked at him as she answered this question. "It would be nice if you stayed for a little longer this time Cloud."

Well, it appears that Kadaj was not lying at all. So Tifa had somewhat helped the poor little Remnant out. Then the question was popped thanks to Tifa. What should they do about Kadaj. "Leave him be." Cloud said softly. "I don't trust him so keep the kids away from him." Soon Cloud went into a small thinking mode. He did not want to really want say this aloud, but it was about time he did.
"You and the kids are my world. I will not let anything happen to you three." Cloud said as he walked over to his bed and put his Tsgui against a near by wall. There was no way that anyone was going to take them away. "Everyone is fine. Not much has changed." Soon Tifa said how long would he stay. "I'll make sure to be around." He said softly.

Tifa looked at him "I could use help around the bar. It might be a good idea if I have him around Cloud. To keep an eye on him. Aerith is taking care of him. He's living with her and Zack. Maybe having him work here with me could be good for him. I'll make sure the kids are safe while he is here." Tifa hoped that Cloud new that she could take care of every thing. She has been every time he was gone.
Hearing this Tifa smiled at him. She felt like a family when he was here but when he ws gone she didnt' like that their family had gotten sepreated. "Cloud nothing will happen to the kids or my self." She smiled at him watching him. Walking to her bed and sitting down she looked at Cloud. "Sometimes when I watch you it looks like you haven't changed since that day. But i see you have changed. You are here more."
Tifa nodded "I'm glad. Maybe one day all four of us could go back there. Like a trip so the kids can get out of here for a little and I can see home again with you." Tifa's hand went down on the bed making a small sound. "You better stay around Cloud. We need you here. I know its hard just to stick around but its nice to have you home." Tifa looked down at her hand and saw the ring. Cloud's ring on her finger, she never took that ring off and nor will she ever take that off.

"Has everyone forgotten what he has done? The innocent he killed?" Cloud said with a little anger in his tone. "He even nearly killed the kids, and you still want him around?"This was the first time in a long time, since he actually talked sentences. He was really talking, because he did not want to see that Remnant around any of his friends or the kids. Kadaj does not belong. "I will never trust him or even forgive him. Keep him away from here."
Slowly, the Ex.Soldier turned around and walked over to Tifa. In only a few moment's Cloud was merely a foot away from her. As he looked down, Cloud said, " I mean it." Then turned away.

Tifa looked at him "Cloud he's going to be around. What if Zack came up to you and asked you to take care of him?" Tifa looked at him "Please Cloud I understand he killed so many but he came in and didn't even try to attack this time. I think coming back changed him."
Tifa grabbed his arm softly trying to prevent him from leaving "Cloud if he comes in I just can't kick him out." Tifa got up still holding on to him. "Don't leave Cloud." Tifa new that when he was upset or mad he tended to leave again. "What if I keep any eye on him Cloud? The kids are always up stairs any way. It will keep him busy Cloud if he works in the bar that's all Cloud just the bar. Think Cloud we can keep an eye on him one slip up one move backwards we can take him down right then and there."

"If he's going to be around, I'm not." With his left hand he picked up his sword and put it on his back. "Its bad enough, I have to deal with one nightmare." Cloud soon yanked his arm forward to release himself from Tifas grasp. It only took a few moments before he walked over to the door and opened it. "Don't ask when, I'll be back." Cloud paused. Strife was rather annoyed at the fact everyone was not confused by these actions.
Nothing is really making any sense at all. It was time Cloud separated himself from everyone he knows. If they all want to love Kadaj that's fine, but he will have no part of it. "Cause I won't be back." |

Tifa looked down trying not to get hurt from his words. "Cloud please he wont' be around alright." Tifa went to him "I..I'm sorry Cloud please don't leave Cloud." Tifa closed her eyes. "There is something weird going on. Those who are dead those who were friends are alive. Evil people have came back. Cloud if you are not here what will happen to the kids and myself?" Her hand once again was on his.
"I can't be here alone." She remembered the fight with Loz and how she lost that fight and they had took Marlene. "I lost a fight and he took Marlene Cloud. I need you here." She moved so she was in front of him. "I just though it would be a good idea to keep him around to keep an eye on him Cloud. To stop him if Sephiroth comes back. That he could be the one that brings him back again. It was to protect you Cloud that is all I wanted to do." Tifa was so hard not to break down. She always had to keep up with being strong. "Cloud I was only thinking it was a good idea just in case. I promis Aerith and Zack will deal with him. I would not deal with him I would not let him stay or be near this part."
Looking at him right in the eyes Tifa was still hurting of what he said. "If you come back what if i'm not here? The kids neither? Cloud you promised me you will always be there if I need you to protect me. If you leave I could be taken down again and the kids will be taken away again." Tifa figured that Cloud would see her feelings for him but it seemed he never does.
Tifa still stood in front of him. Not wanting him to leave at all. "I promis Cloud he won't be here. Please stay here stay home. The kids need you I need you. We can figure out why they have came back together. Please Cloud I'm begging you this time to stay." Looking away from him she took a deep breath. "Never have I tried to keep you here this time I'm fighting for you to stay home."
Tifa never thought about fighting Cloud before. But she woud not let him leave. She needed him more then any thing. Every time he left Tifa hurt and she couldn't take it any more. "Cloud you know I love you. I ask you don't leave me. Be part of this family Cloud." Looking at him Tifa looked at him with love in her eyes sadness as well.

Cloud said nothing as Tifa went on with her little speech. He had no real idea how important he was to the kids and Tifa until now. However, being around them could only cause trouble, and he does not want that to happen. Strife had no idea what to say to the saddened Tifa. How should he respond to her? He is not really good at showing his emotions still, and he dwells in the past a lot. "I'll be back in a few hours." Cloud couldn't sleep now.
He knew he needed to stay and really think about things. What should he do and what kind of actions must be taken in this big situation? Cloud let out a sigh and looked into the dark hall way.

Tifa looked at him. "You promis you'll be back in a few hours. I want to see you tomorrow telling me what you want for breakfast." Tifa crossed her arms giving him a small smile. "If not you are goin to be in trouble."
Walking out with him she saw how dark it got in this place and looked at Cloud. "Cloud I know you. You want to protect everyone. But leaving won't help us. Staying home will help them more." Tifa was talking about the kids. "You need to stop looking in the past Cloud. It is whats hurting you. I'm here Cloud if you only let me help you." Tifa was standing by the door. "Please come back and be here in the morning."

Cloud could not help, but to leave when he had to go and think. Just getting away from everyone seemed to make him rest a bit. Soon Tifa mentioned something about him being back for break feast. "Alright." Cloud said with a small smile. With saying that he walked down the stairs and made a left and unlocked the downstairs door. Gently, he opened the handle and looked out side before taking a few steps out.

Tifa had walked down the stairs watching Cloud. "Be careful Cloud." That was all she said as he had walked out the door. Tifa just wanted to watch and see if he would just come back but Tifa new better. Walking back up staires Tifa went to bed and just laid there.
