[Kadaj]

Kadaj wandered the streets, a dazed look in his eyes as he wandered almost mindlessly with no destination in mind, he seemed lost, but he'd been around here before.

"Why am I here?" he muttered to himself as he listed his hand to gaze down at it, he could see some raindrops land upon his hand so he looked to the sky, "great...." he muttered as he continued on. "i suppose I'll be expected to bring about the reunion again...but it's pointless now...Sephiroth you bastard...you drained me of every ounce of energy I had in me...." clutching his hands into fists his body shook slightly.

Kadaj was still weak from the fight, even after being brought back from the lifestream, after a while he started to limp slightly as he tugged the black remnant cloak he had on over his normal leather outfit. Throwing the hood up he looked around himself, his vision growing fuzzy.

"what the hell is wrong with me?" he asked himself as he came up to a building, the rain started to come down quite hard by now as he stared at the bright neon lights. His vision was much too fuzzy to make out the words, but he figured it was some sort of bar.

Maybe If he made it inside, then he could rest, that is if he made it. Staggering a bit, kadaj fell over and landed with his back against the building. The hood stayed up and over his face as he hung his head before closing his eyes with a sigh.

(I'm too tired....) he thought to himself, (i can't move...damn you sephiroth....damn you...)

[Tifa Lockhart]

Tifa put the kids to sleep and closed the door. Tifa could hear them lock the door and smiled. She had a key and so did Cloud to all the doors in this place. If any thing happend she new the kids would be okay. Walking down stairs holding on the the rail she saw someone walking inside. Seeing how he looked Tifa walked up to him.

"Are you okay?" Tifa put her hand on her shoulder. "Can i get you any thing at all?" Tifa looked worried but also made sure she kept her guard up just in case.

[Kadaj]

The hood over kadaj's face stayed in place as he attempted to lift his head, he knew that voice from somewhere, but where had he herd it? his brain was so jumbled and confused from being here so suddenly, "I..." he tried to speak, hardly anything came out either because his mouth was too dry to form any words, or he just didn't want help from anyone.

"Im...fine...im just..." Finally he was able to turn his head to look away, and in a slightly angry tone he spoke, "just resting..." lifting his hand to his mouth he started to cough, his mouth wasn't all that was dry, his throat was too. the pain that rippled through his body was unbearable, but he wasn't about to let anyone see him in pain, that would be stupid! weak! and downright humiliating!

Attempting to stand he managed to stay on his feat only for a few seconds before falling over again with a yelp of pain, the hood falling off of his head, revealing his childish face and his silver hair. His bright green, cat-like eyes were squeezed shut as he curled his knees up to his chest. "no! im not okay!...but i dont need help! i can deal with this on my o-"

Cutting himself off short he looked at the woman, "y-your one of Cloud's friends!" he snapped, "oh of all places to fall..." he grumbled before feeling yet another ripple of pain surge through him. Falling onto his back he screamed out. "oh gods....it hurts" he whimpered.

[Tifa Lockhart]

Tifa shook her head "No your not okay. Come on lets get you at the bar and I'll get you some water." Tifa felt kind sorry for this what sounds like a young man. She tried to get him to come with her. Shaking her head when he refused any help she just placed her hands on her hips "You need the help."

When he fell down she saw the hood coming off. Taking a step back she looked around and was about to kick him out but couldn't. There was no way she could not like this. He hadn't hurt any one just yet. Tifa bent down and helped him up and was able to get him to a chair.

She went to the back and got him some water. "What is going on. Your supposed to be dead." Tifa looked at him still on her toes but tried to help him as much as she could. She just hoped Cloud didn't walk in right now. That would have been bad if he came back right at this moment.

[Kadaj]

Kadaj Twitched a little before scooting back away from her, "why would you wanna help me anyway....were enemies!"he yelled before feeling yet another ripple of pain surge through his body, causing him to yell.

He was disappointed in himself, and it only made him think how disgusted Sephiroth would be with him only gave him the chills. "no...I don't need help! the cells will heal me! Mother's cells will heal me..." he wheezed a bit at the end feeling a bit worse then before.

Closing his eyes he hadn't even realized she brought him inside till after he was being plopped down in a chair. Looking at the glass of water he waited for a bit, looking at Tifa before picking the water up and taking a drink. smoothly it wet his mouth and throat, making it much easier to talk.

"I don't know....I was in the lifestream....and next think i Knew...I was waking up on the streets in more pain then when I died in Cloud's arms..." he spoke with a slightly nicer tone. But he was just as confused as Tifa was.

[Tifa Lockhart]

"Please do not yell. I have other people in this bar." Tifa said with a smile not answering his question. Then she figured it would be best to answer it might help him try to trust her. "You have not attacked me yet you have not harmed any one just yet. You are weak you look like your about to die. I can not let that happen." That was a weakness of hers she was kind to many people. She did not understand her self why she was being nice to Kadaj after what he did. But the past is the past right?

Seeing him drink the water Tifa went to get him another glass just in case he would need it. "There told you that you needed some water." Tifa said still having her smile. "Would you like any thing to eat?"

"If you are alive who else could have came back? Do you know if any one else came back?" Tifa asked It was strange that Kadaj came back alive. Unless he never did die in Cloud's hands. But if Kadaj was alive could it mean that Sephiroth was hiding some where out in the world.

[Kadaj]

Kadaj looked around him, indeed there were others, and they were all looking at him strangely. Sinking down in his chair he threw his hood up over his head before crossing his arms across his chest with a pout. It was a little embarrassing to have others see him spazz out like this, but oh well, it was done and over with now.

"stupid humans...." he muttered before placing one hand on his back where his now empty sheath resided, "where's my sword?..." His eyes grew wide as he remembered he didn't have it after coming back from the lifestream. Before Falling into Cloud's arms he had Dropped his sword on the ground right by them. "Souba....it's lost in that heap of junk...." he whined a bit.

"well i really dont have a weapon to attack with now do I?" he grumbled before holding his hand out, "Though i could just use my Matra Magic" he grinned before blue sparks appeared in his hand, only to die out again, "what?!...no!" Not even his Matra magic was working for him.

"Who are you calling weak!?" he jerked sitting straight up in his chair quickly, feeling a surge of pain go through his body again. "oww....." he whined. "ok...so im not feeling 100%.....but i'll feel better..." he spoke with a slight growl, "the Cells will....heal me..." though even he himself was doubting that.

This woman was confusing him, Kadaj was evil, bad, like sephiroth Bad. and here she was trying to help him. Kadaj had killed, he harmed, and mangled so many people. How could one person forgive him just like that.

Glancing away from her he cleared his throat, "yea....thanks..." he muttered crossing his arms again after taking another drink. Thinking a little bit he didn't really know what he liked to eat, most of what he had was always caught and cooked over a fire. "i dunno...." he answered.

Shaking his head he shrugged, "I have no clue...." he spoke, answering her question. "there might be others...or it might just be me..." looking down he sighed a little, "i don't feel the presence of my brothers..." he sighed sadly.

[Tifa Lockhart]

Tifa watched him sink down in his chair and smiled “Kadaj what are you doing?” She saw that he was acting like a child. Tifa wondered why he was so child like. He seemed to just be a little younger then Cloud and herself.
She kept watching him and couldn’t help but laugh. “Kadaj please calm down alright. How about this tomorrow we will go find your sword.” Tifa new that could be a stupid thing to do but maybe it would help Kadaj a little. He seemed to be somewhat different from the last time she saw him. Helping him might be what he needs and go ahead and actually turn into the side of good.
Seeing what he was doing she put her hand on top of his. “Kadaj please not here. There are people here. Some might tell the Turks about you. I don’t think right now you want to be chased my Reno and Rude.” Tifa figured they would send those two since they somehow always end up at her bar or upstairs in their home area. Also Tifa didn’t feel like dealing with any of them at all right now.
Shaking her head “You are weak at the moment Kadaj stop being so heard headed and just rest.” When he wasn’t sure what he would like to eat. Tifa left for a moment and came back with some soup. “Here get something in your system at least. She went ahead and got him another glass of water. Looking at the door she saw someone else walking in and welcomed him to the bar. Once that was done she went and looked at Kadaj.

[Kadaj]

Looking at her he pouted a bit, "trying to get away from the shame and humiliation....as you can see...its not working!" he spoke, snapping out the last part. Glaring at her when she started to laugh at him. "what are you laughing at?" he asked.

"Nyeh? really?..." he looked at Tifa with a shocked look on his face, his arms still crossed but a little looser this time. "you'll help me look for it?" he asked before feeling her hand upon his own, "It won't work anyway...."

Sighing he shook is head, "who cares about the turks....those bumbling idiots can't catch a thing..." he said with a chuckle. "reno and Rude are the dorkiest of them all...they couldn't do crap... besides...im sure any normal person would call them up just by taking one look at me..."

Sighing he shrugged his shoulders before glancing at her, "why are you helping me anyway?...I fought against you and your friends....I killed people....and worst of all...I tried...and succeeded at bringing Sephiroth back" he sighed, "I just don't get you"

Waiting for Tifa to return he sighed, thinking about why he had returned, he had died, right in Cloud's arms. He remembered the feeling he had right before going to the lifestream to fallow the voice of, Who he thought was 'mother' at the time. But really ended up being the girl known as Aerith.

Hearing Tifa's voice again he snapped out of his thoughts, "oh...um thanks..." he said before picking up the spoon to start eating. Still he thought about his return, was it a second chance? or was Sephiroth not happy with his performance? was he going to make him try again or something?

[Tifa Lockhart]

“Nobody here cares who you are. They only care about them and those they are with.” Tifa looked around seeing that some people were looking but just kept going on whatever they were doing. “You try to sound grown up like you are trying to be. But it’s not working all to well Kadaj.” Tifa shook her head “You are just like him sometimes. Can’t figure out what you want. I think that’s the only thing the two of you have in common. You should try to find your sword and when you know for sure you can’t find it then you stop looking.”

Tifa began to laugh. “That is true about Reno and Rude. But still I don’t feel like hearing Reno’s big mouth for once.” Tifa didn’t mind them to much. The other Turks she didn’t’ like but those two she couldn’t help but find amusing.

“Why should I live in the past? It only hurts people.” Tifa looked down “We all did things said things that were bad. I wish I could say sorry for what I said to someone but he’s dead.” Tifa looked up at him. “You must not live in the past at all. Look at your future. I’m helping you because you are hurt. When you heal if you attack me I will fight. But for now you need to be helped.” While talking to him she couldn’t help but smile at him.
Tifa nodded and went and got some other things for the bar. “Do you want any thing else Kadaj?” Tifa asked

[Kadaj]

Glancing at Tifa he chuckled, "really now?...good...I don't feel like fighting anyway" he spoke, keeping that snobby attitude to his voice as he spoke. "im near being grown up! im 16!" he snapped a little before forcing himself to cool down. "sorry..." he muttered before sticking the spoon in his mouth.

"just like who?" he questioned, (she better not be talking about sephiroth) he thought to himself as he took the spoon out of his mouth to place it in the now empty bowl. The soup was good, real good actually, better then any of the stuff Loz cooked over the campfire.

"see see...you know what im talking about!" he nodded, "Reno couldn't beat yazoo with a stick!" he spoke with a laugh. Kadaj was starting to feel a bit better, his strength was still down, way down. But his vision and movement were better.

Crossing his arms he sighed, "really?...did...you say something hurtful to someone?" he asked out of curiosity. Her words shocked him, he knew sephiroth would want him to kill her, to destroy her and cloud with all he had. But after all of this, bringing him in from the rain, giving him some water and food. how could he live with himself after all of that? Her smile was warm and comforting, there was no way he could attack her. Not now, or ever actually. "i feel fine now...but thanks for the offer" he said before he too gave a smile.

[Tifa Lockhart]

“Plus I can’t fight someone who is your state.” Tifa said with a smile. Giving out a little laugh “I’m older then you Kadaj your still a kid. Don’t be sorry its fine.” Tifa new she would have to keep an eye on him while he was here that was for sure. “Don’t worry about who it is. Just that you want to find your sword but yet you said no to it. He does the same thing from time to time. He wants to do good but he think he fails when he don’t.” Tifa said with a smile.

Tifa nodded “but they are easy to take down though. But I dunno about the Turks any more. Last time I talked to them they wanted Cloud’s help for something. Then that day they saved those kids then they had that fight with your brothers.” Tifa shook her head “Reno and Rude are strange to me.”

Tifa looked at him knowing she would have to go back to the past. “It was when I was younger two SOLDIERS came to my home town and I was supposed to be there tour guide. Well I actually wanted to be. I showed them around all over. Well Sephiroth went crazy and did things. I went to stop him and he cut me down. Zack came along to make sure I was okay I turned over having my back facing him. Hearing him walk away I began to talk. Saying how I hated them SOLDIER and just kept talking bad. Sure to you that is probably no problem but it wasn’t his fault it was Sephiroths fault. I wish I could say sorry to Zack but he’s dead.” Tifa looked at him she really couldn’t remember much of what happened only that Zack wanted to help her but she refused and that Cloud helped her and she wanted his help.

[Kadaj]

Crossing his arms again he got a pouty look on his face, "yea i know...what are you? like 20 or something?" he asked. "pffffttt i bet its Niisan" he chuckled before thinking about what he just said. (usually i just call him Cloud....when Did i start calling him Niisan?) he thought to himself.

"maybe they're getting lazy?" he guessed, "I would too if i had to work for a Ass hole..." he chuckled a bit. "and my brothers beat them to a pulp" he mocked with a grin. "Tour guide huh? was it a small backwater town?....I herd it was at least..." Nodding as he listened to her story he could see some memories playing in his head of Sephiroth walking away in the blazing fire.

"yea...i remember that...It's like i have his memories planted in my head or something...I was suppose to be one of the closest of his copies...the one who would become him and bring about the reunion...and now that it failed...I'm sure he'd probably kill me for being 'weak'..."

Again he nodded, "I understand completely..." he then cut himself off, "wait...Zack?...Zack Fair? tall dark haired guy...I remember meeting someone like that at the church...it was just before arriving here...but i assure you he was pretty much alive..." he chuckled. "him and a brunette girl....they helped me out...much like you did just now...but after i left i started to get weak again and well you know the rest..." he chuckled.

[Tifa Lockhart]

“Nissan? When did you call Cloud that it was always big brother.” Tifa looked at him. How he’s been talking it sounded like he wasn’t that bad. Tifa couldn’t help but smile was he talked.

Tifa shook her head. “But they aren’t that bad though. Reno and Rude did help us out.” Tifa could say those two were probably the only Turks she could actually like out of the whole Turks. They weren’t that bad. “ Tifa looked down they weren’t the only ones who got taken down. She was taken down as well. “Yeah a backwater town. So you know what happened then.” Tifa looked down. She regretted that day.

Tifa nodded to the name. “Yeah Zack Fair that was his name. About a little taller then Cloud ware the same thing.” Her eyes went open. “The girl pink dress pink bow in her hair?” Tifa’s eyes got wide. “Are they back? But how they are dead.” Tifa was smiling the thoughts of them alive again.

[Kadaj]

Looking a bit confused he shrugged, "I don't know....It just kinda....slipped out...." he said before taking in a big breath of air. Slowly letting out a long sigh he rubbed his head a bit. kadaj knew he was growing soft, Aerith and Zack had made great sure of that.

Smiling lightly he crossed his arms, yea he tried to continue acting tough, but deep down he was just a normal 16 year old kid wanting a family. And he was going to made damned sure he wasn't going to loose them.

"true...true...I guess I just....like to make fun of their dimwittedness..." he chuckled, "mainly Reno" Nodding at Tifa's question he sighed, "Sephiroth's memories...they sometimes play in my head like a movie of some sort...sometimes It's like I'm looking through his eyes and sometimes its like I'm watching all of It from the eyes of another..." he spoke shaking a little. "I can see them now...Sephiroth...walking away...surrounded by a blazing fire..."

Sitting back in his chair he nodded, "yup...thats her alright...real sweet girl...If I hadn't stopped at the church first...I probably would have been long dead before reaching this place..." he said with a chuckle. "well When I saw them they seemed alive...Unless I was seeing ghosts" he laughed, "but last i checked living things went through ghosts."
